PARTNER · WATER SYSTEMS · JUNE 2026

THE QUESTION

Do we have to spend more to win the event?

THE ANSWER

+49.8%

REVENUE GROWTH IN THE PRIME WINDOW, AS THE PARTNER REPORTED IT

How we got there.

THE WHOLE STORY, IN ORDER

> WHAT WE WALKED INTO

A water-systems partner went into the June 2026 Prime window without a bigger budget. Their close-out, sent the week the window ended, reported revenue growth of +49.8% with spend down across ads, marketing, purchasing, and fulfillment. The tempting move is to put that number in our own voice and let it read as a measurement. We will not, because the readout never stated its comparison window and two of the four cost lines are not ours to claim. So this file does something rarer than a case study: it quotes the partner and stops.

> THE MOMENT · THE CLOSE-OUT, AS THE PARTNER WROTE IT

> revenue growth, prime window .... +49.8%
> ad spend ........................ down
> marketing spend ................. down
> purchasing and fulfillment ...... down

> STEP 01

The window

Prime Day 2026, June 23 to 26, on an account whose ads we manage. No peak budget surge went in for the window, which is worth saying only because the readout says spend fell.

> STEP 02

The readout

Revenue up 49.8% for the window; ads, marketing, purchasing, and fulfillment all down. The partner’s words, in the partner’s close-out.

> STEP 03

What we cannot verify, and why that matters

The growth figure has no stated comparison window. Purchasing and fulfillment sit outside ad management. If we restated 49.8% as our own result, the first person who knows Amazon would ask “against what,” and we would not have an answer. That question is the whole reason case studies get distrusted.

> STEP 04

Why it is here

Because the partner wrote it unprompted, the week the event ended. Praise is worth quoting in exactly one direction, from the client to the agency, and only when the agency admits what it did not measure.
